Everything seems to have run out all at the same time. SO I need:

  • a foundation - v light skin (although am tanned at the mo it will soon fade) and decent coverage needed
  • a mascara - as natural looking as poss as I have no desire to wear spiders on my eyes
  • a blusher - a nice English rose type pink

Thanks all.

Oh - and has anybody tried the Olay Regenerist lip stuff?

foundation - chanel vitalumiere
mascara - I usually buy hypnose which is natural looking
blusher - I use any old thing but am quite tempted by the TSV on QVC today - there's one in that.

for foundation try bobbi brown.

pickyvic · 23/08/2009 16:38

im using a foundation by YSL - the perfect touch one that you put on with its own built in brush - its quite nice and light but gives good coverage, especially nice if you use the primer you can get underneath.
im also very pale and found this one looks really natural but seems to stay put.

mascara - i love Max Factor but i like the long lash look!

and blushers i just use boots no 7 - they do a nice selection and they are cheap!

Have got Max Factor mascara at the mo but it seemed to run out really quickly. Usually use Clinique Long and Pretty.

Do Bobbi Brown, Chanel or YSL do samples of foundation do you know?

What is Hypnose?

Thanks. Have a lovely Lancome eyeliner but never used anything else from there.

bobbi brown excellent for pale skin, i am quite sallow and other foundations concealors are too orange. concealors also v g on under eye shadows

RinkyDinkyPinky · 23/08/2009 17:08

Another vote for Bobbi Brown "skin" foundation is excellent and has SPF15. I am a convert. They do samples.

I also love their pale pink blusher- looks v pink in the compact but like a natural flush on. I'm pale and most other make up looks muddy on me.

janeite · 23/08/2009 17:13

Bobbi Brown is sounding good! Thanks.

Defo recommend Bobbi Brown also. I love their luminous foundation and they have the loveliest cream blushers too. If you go when they are not busy, you can get them to do your makeup for you...a nice treat. Mascara wise, I always get lancome though. Good luck.

Thanks Dingdong.
