I want a new hairstyle

Have gone for something quite different for the last 3 cuts (1. fringe 2.layers 3.short)

Hair is now shoulder length mainly, but longer at sides. Fringe has grown out now

Want to go for something new again. Looking for ideas!

Have mid-brown, thick, wavy hair

Any ideas gratefully received. Am prepared to be bold

Your hair sounds similar to mine, I went for a big change recently from long hair to a bob. Not sure if it's the bold hairstyle you are looking for though. I'll try and put some pics on my profile.

I might just go into the salon and give her a bit of a free rein (I know her and trust her)

Am trying to avoid highlights, am a bit bored of being blonde. But not brave enough to go darker as I think I just look pale

southeastastra yes it's naturally that curly, before having children it was just a bit wavy but childbirth did something weird to my hair! Being long it looked a bit odd like i'd had my roots permed so I decided to get it all chopped off.

I just told the hairdresser to chop it off to shoulder length and this is what she did. I've been pleasantly surprised how much I like having short hair.

mine is naturally straight and have had it permed and curly for about 4 yrs now, but have decided to grow it out for a change

noone ever thought it was permed, they have come on a long way

i still love curly hair and will probably go back to it at some point
