what a beautiful dress. Too nice for my work but am tempted to order it for evening wear, its lovely.

No harm in ordering it to see. I dont have the luxury of worrying about big boobs!

It's a nice dress but I don't think the neckline would flatter big boobs, I think it would look too matronly, sorry.

You'd be better off with a v neck type neck line I think.

Katz · 20/08/2009 21:24

thanks , GAL thats what i worried about, i'm only 31 and want to look that age not frumpy and old.

i need some new work clothes and i like wearing dresses, but struggling to findwork ones.

Definitely not for big boobs, sorry

GirlsAreLoud · 20/08/2009 21:26

I feel your pain Katz, am a similar size and shape to you and would love to be able to carry off a dress like that.

Katz · 20/08/2009 21:27

what about this checky dress

OP posts:
rempy · 20/08/2009 21:28

Might make you look a bit broad across the shoulders.

Nice but.

GirlsAreLoud · 20/08/2009 21:30

Not the print but the shape should be more like this I think

GirlsAreLoud · 20/08/2009 21:32

this one?

Katz · 20/08/2009 21:37

the shape of the first is good but the second (and this maybe just because its a maturer model) seems a little frumpy/old.

ahhh, i hate clothes shopping hence do most of it online and end up with disasters!

I have a couple of wrap dresses but am fed up with having to wear vest topsto fill the v's

Have you tried bravissimo? Some of their dresses could be ok for work.

Bellsa · 20/08/2009 21:38

Love the dress, but as a fellow big boober don't think it'll work. Sorry.

Mistymoo · 20/08/2009 21:42

The second one that GAL suggested was nice.

Katz · 20/08/2009 21:55

is this one too patterndy? spotty

OP posts:
KristinaM · 20/08/2009 22:03

i am 32G and can only wear dresses from bravissimo or stretchy jersey dresses

Lulubee · 20/08/2009 22:06

The Per Una one that Katz posted is really nice - would workwith big boobs but also looks young and funky. Esp if you wear with boots.

Katz · 20/08/2009 22:11

i have black and brown boots

ooh i love the bravissimo dress in cobalt blue...sooooo flattering. And the bell sleeve one (though not sure about that shade of red/rust?)

th M&S stuff never quite fits right, the first wool high neckline one - i quite like that neckline for big boobs, but the fit round the waist has to be right (looks a bit wrong)

this monsoon one

is very nice -though for evenings

Katz · 20/08/2009 22:38

ahhh why is it so hard?

found this in the boden sale

LazyJournosCutAndPasteFromMN · 21/08/2009 09:55

M&S is not good if you have large boobs. I love shift dresses but just can't wear them as boobs too big (34H).

You might be able to get away with a shift if you wear one with a lowish neck line and always have a jacket on. But then getting a jacket tailored for big boob is another story . . . . .

I've been coveting the cobalt blue one in bravissimo [sigh]
