Boden Velvet coat

Anyone bought this?

What colour to go for? I'm thinking Rhubarb, I think long purple coat could look witchy, and the blue won't go with much.

sorry but red is a no-no for me- just too loud.
What colour is your hair and skin? You need to be dark to carry off a very strong colour.

aubergine's more classy.

I'm pale but pinky kind of skin with blond hair, but dyed in reality mousey brown.

I thought the rhubard looked pinky. Pink suits me, autum colours don't. pastelly or clear clours suit me IYKWIM?

I like to wear colour and try to avoid brown and black mostly.

I ordered it and sent it back.

I liked the rhubarb colour but it was very thin and not especially flattering.

have a look at recent Boden threads - think Swedes got it in Rhubarb and didn't like it...

I got it in green and didn't like the coat but colour was nice. Came up very small, unlike the Carnaby cord thing.

I got one last year and sent it back- def. not warm enough for winter- more like a mac for warm rainy days.
