Has anyone seen the kind of bag I want...??

I am waaaay past that stage of needing to tote the world around in my bag (you know - nappies/spare clothes endless snacks etc).

But I am still at the stage of frequent child-related trips (eg to the park, to the footie match, to the Brownie play etc). I need to have a bag to take.

I don't want to take my big handbag with all my crap in it to watch cricket training. I want a bag that will literally fit in my keys and my purse (and my phone if I had one, tho I don't).

I would like it to fit over my shoulder if needed by not on a long strap; I would like it to be vaguely funky. Don't really mind what colour.

Does such an item exist? Or is it time for me to invent it?

Have you heard about DS's school yet?

Saddler gate, they have some nice bag/shoe shops there. Limeys (now something else) is closing down so they have a huge sale there aswell.

The hols are a bit boring, I had a lumbar puncture a couple of weeks ago and it's taken a while to shift the resulting headache. J and I have been passing colds between each other. He's practically moved into Games workshop though.

We've not heard yet, I emailed a couple of weeks ago, the secretary called on Friday whilst we were out and left a message saying the head's in tomorrow so she'll talk to him. The head said he did really well on the test and chat though so they were waiting for the reference.

Things are a bit slow at the moment, there's not alot to do.

I don't mind the sun (as long as it's not too hot), tis the flies/hayfever/people looking like lobsters that puts me off the summer.

Canopy's not too bad, a tad expensive though. They normally have alot of bags in Next, Bennetts have some aswell.
