Boden reviews

I used to think they published all of them, but oh no....

All mine have been published except the latest when I did not like the classic cords. They are described as fitting like the moleskins- well, maybe this year's but certainly not previous years of which I have 3 pairs. This year's cords are tighter and the waist is higher. They are not worth £55 even with a 20% discount.

so, lookslike Johnnie is cherry picking- he won't publish the reviews he doesn't like.

Isn't that the case with most businesses though?

purplepeony · 16/08/2009 17:12

no- I have completed many other reviews that were not 100% flattering and they were included- as are others which are critical.

They now show the reviews from highest rated to lowest, so maybe your review is on the last page. There is the option to look at most recent first, but you have to click it for every item which is annoying.

the site is full of bad reviews thats whats good about it you get a good idea of what the clothes are like before you buy

Paolosgirl · 16/08/2009 19:10

Ah... I stand corrected

Jewelsandgems · 16/08/2009 20:04

purple I know what you mean. I left reviews for the flared jeans saying they were short in the leg (even on my 3 year old who is a small 3 year old) and the review was on the site for about a day, but it's not there anymore!

I have only just started bothering with boden....was surprised to see my review missing.

purplepeony · 16/08/2009 20:34

I get it now- the review IS there, but he has graded them from 5* to whatever.

that doesn't surprise me. why are so many reviews from americans? i mean a pair of kids jeans that are £26 stg, that's going to be how many dollars???? I don't get it at all. PLUS how much for post and packaging?!

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 17/08/2009 10:37

The US reviews are because there is a UK and a US site, but the reviws get shared across both.

MaggieBeauLeo · 17/08/2009 15:08

oh I seeeeeeeeee, I was picturing Americans paying about $100 for a pair of jeans for a 7 yr old....
