i am really fed up of buying what i believe to be decent high st clothes, e.g white stuff, warehouse, oasis, wallis etc to find they dont last more than a month looking nice, they either develop small holes or loose their shape, mostly tops im talking about here,. i cant afford to spend loads on clothes but decided to gok things up and buy less but better quality, where do you ladies recommend??
thanks

tbh I do similar - seperating darks, whites, lights and brights

get a divided laundry basket
turn things inside out as you take them off
keep mismatched old pillowcases next to washer

takes little longer than stuffing in random clothes and results are really much better

Anything I ever bought from Benetton or Sisley has lasted for ages.

And I so wish Jigsaw would come to Belgium, I still have stuff from there almost 10 years on.

Uniqlo on line - fantastic service, sometimes get delivery the next day.

Ihatethecold, not long honest! Nobody could claim I'm a martyr to housework It takes minutes to sort the weekly wash into different coloured piles and anything needing turning inside out/stuffed into a pillowcase gets done as it goes in the machine. Helps that I don't do any ironing but send it out.
