I would like a nice / funky / not dull rain coat - any ideas?

I just don't want a Boden one as you may as well have BODEN tattooed on your forehead when you wear them (although they are pretty, I grant you that). Anywhere else do a good mac?

Ooh should say - I don't want a beige one as I look like death warmed up in beige. I'm after a good coloured one.

i dont understand why you may as well have Boden tatooed on your forehead surely its only people who like Boden in general that would recognise a Boden mac? if you think they are pretty and i agree with you they are why not get one dont be put off with other people dissing Boden

You're right, but I've already got two Boden coats (so you can see i AM one of the people who like boden) and I just don't want a third. It's my attempt to try and pretend to be stylish and have a wide range shopping experiences.

Instead of the reality which is that I get stuff from the Boden catalogue and Gap and that's about it......

I think you just have to choose your boden carefully. They often do a few plain bright colours along with the prints and some prints are more "Boden" than others.

I got a print one a few years ago, it seemed pretty Boden-y but what the hell I liked it. Brown with an orange, black and cream kind of retro geometric circles print. To my delight someone asked "Is that raincoat Orla Kiely?" So there you go.

I have got a Boden one, it's green and aubergine. I hate wearing it as the colours are great but don't suit me.

If anyone wants a swap let me know!!!

I have one of the Boden rainmacs, and it's good and does the job. Good hood and pockets. Sleeves a teeny bit too short imo.

Roomy, maybe a bit too roomy as it still fits me and I am 30 weeks pregnant.

I always feel a bit old when I where it though!!

I have seen nice patterned pac a mac type things in Millet type places.

I also have a black Timberland waterproof and a red one from tchibo.
