shoe advice needed

I'm going out for a meal for my birthday to a very posh restaurant, but we're going out for lunch not dinner so don't want to be too posh.

I bought a lovely dress from coast, mainly black with a flowery pattern. It's kind of fitted and can be worn strapless, but has a halterneck strap as well.

I'm trying to find a pair of shoes that will dress it down a bit and make it just look smart and summery rather than like an evening dress.

Any ideas?

do you have a Camper near you? they have some funky sandals that wouldn't look too "dressy"

hmmm, never heard of it, so probably not.

and also, what should I wear over the dress if it's not sunny? jacket, cardigan? would denim be too weird?

I quite like them, but can't really walk in heels, especially where the restaurant is, it's all cobbly.
