We are going to a beautiful house for a long weekend with my family. 12 children and 10 adults. The occasion is the 40th WA of my parents.

On the Saturday night DH (a chef) is cooking a lovely meal for us all (which we are paying for) and Mum wants us all to dress up.

We will be feeding the children earlier and putting them in front of a DVD! and then formal dining for us all.

I really dont want a long formal dress which I probably wont use again - what do you think I should wear?

I am 38. 5ft 6'. Large norks. Dark hair. Fair skinned. size 14. Just lost 1.5stone and carrying on so would be looking at a size 12. I am quite thick waisted. Ideas needed.

TIA

Do you have shoes already?

ooh lovely website!

I love turquoise - dont want black.

Not keen on the green one or the purple one but have bkmarked website.

No budget! Got lovely navy shoes and red ones too if that helps.
