Miracle Nail Products?

I have recently stopped being a nail biter and whilst I still have a fair way to go, as my nails approach the neds of my fingers for the first time in my life, I realise I need something to help them on their journey!

They are ridged, quite thin, but bendy but more brittle I guess.

I don't really like the shiny finish that most products give tho, it draws the eye to them and they are still very ugly!

you need Sally Hansen - it is called Hard as Acrylics IIRC

and a good nail oil - i use a nailtiques one which is £££ but lasts forever

Oh thanks, I saw that one earlier, the Sally Hansen one, will go back and get it I can't find nail oil anywhere?!

BTW is that top photo on your profile page your DS? How old is he, he's gorgeous!! I love his hair, has he ever had it cut?

I agree with the Sally Hansen stuff - I used to have acrylics and they absolutely ruined my nails - they were weak and flakey. This stuff sorted them.

You can buy nail oil from Boots I think? If not, any salon that does manicures etc should sell it.

they sell nailtiques oil in SPace NK

but you can also use any cuticle oil - almond oil is also nice

that picture was my DS - he had never had his hair cut at that point (was nearly 3)

I've been using a nail buffer and I've found that my nails have been a lot stronger and grow much more quickly.
The one I use is a foam block which has a 3 step system.
1st step is supposed to smooth out the ridges, 2nd step improves circulation and the 3rd gives your nails a lovely sheen which lasts for a week or so.
I bought one at first from a stall in Debenhams but replaced it much more cheaply from e-bay.

Awww I wish my DS' hair grew like that. I am contemplating whether to have it cut at the moment but not sure as he's never had one before and is the same age as your DS. Has your DS had one since that photo? I think the longer you go without cutting it the harder it becomes!

Flexitol Nail and Cuticle cream from Boots. This stuff has made my dry ragged cuticles actually look like the picture on the box!!

yes here for nail oil and nail buffer, only things that stop my nails going to bits - larger boots do a nail kit with both in, which is where I got my first one from! The nail oil is like a roller ball so you don't waste it, does last ages
