Dyeing eyelashes

I'm going on holiday later in the week and a friend mentioned that eye-lash dyeing was the way to go on a pool/beach vacation. Has anyone had this done? Is it worth it? I'm a blue-eyed blonde who always wears mascara and I'm not syre my usual waterproof stuff will last all day! Thanks.

Yes - I've done this at home and have had it done at a salon. Pleased with the results on both occasions, but it's not as good as mascara imo, as it (obviously!) doesn't thicken the lashes. I'd also go for black next time, as the dark brown didn't really do much.

What a speedy reply! Thanks, PG, I think I'll be making an appointment at local salon on Monday.

Hope it goes well

Oh yes. Eyebrows and eyelashes girl myself, every 6 weeks when I can. Brilliant. I look a little less rough in the morning, and it thinkens them slightly so they look better with mascara on.

I got mine done before I went travelling and it was really good.
No, not as good as aas it doesn't thicken or curl, but better than natural eyelashes if you're the type who can't go witout mascara, as I am!

aas?
I don't know where that word came from, it should have said 'Not as good as mascara as it doesn't thicken or curl'

Had mine done two weeks ago before holiday. Was warned it would not last as long because of sun and sea etc. Can not even tell I have had it done now, so a little disappointed.

I had blue/black which looked good when it was first done, not blue just v dark.

The woman who did it seem to miss some of the little lashes on the bottom, which I find difficult to put mascara on too. Had hoped this would be the answer.

On the up side, no streaks after swimming and no panda eyes in the morning

How about lash extensions?

I love getting my lashes dyed, they look fab. It really doesn't last that long though. Do you use eyelash curlers? That really helps IMHO, the lashes become much more visible. Hold the squeeze for a bit so it holds. I sometimes pop on the tiniest bit Vaseline which holds them there without washing down your face in the pool.
