It's our 10th anniversary next week and DH has booked us into a 5 star hotel and very stylish restaurant for dinner. I have lots of "nice" dresses but would love something sleek and stylish to wear.
I usually buy from Monsoon or similar and these just won't do.
I'm 5'5" and small at the top with broadish hips. My hair is and skin are both fair and my legs are ok but not great. I hope that all helps.
My budget is upto £100 and I have a gorgeous pair of black wedge sandals waiting for an outing.

What colours do you like?

Is there an image of what you what to look like that you can describe?

I love the shape of the 1st one but I look shocking in white. The other is a little fussy but I love the colour.
I like bold colours, purples, blues but not green and i like the neat shape of the Coast dress.
There are some lovely ones in Oasis but they always look a little young. ( I'm 35)

Net on go slow for me tonight, so apologies if I am doubling up, but can I point you in the direction of LK Bennett? (I should be given shares as I rave about them so much on here...)

I love the colour of this and I think that it would work well with your figure. It is from their outlet so within budget:

Silk Fuchsia dress

Sorry, I had an early night.
Ooo I love that one too, Cookie. I can feel a trip to Debenhams coming on.
I like the LK Bennet one too but I think the length might drown me. I hadn't thought of looking there though, so thank you.

Thanks. You've given me some good ideas. All I have to do now is hit the shops.

i vote for the Karen Millen hourglass dresses. They are very flattering and you can surprisingly get a lot of wear out of them.
