Target stores in the UK???

Just been speaking to a friend of a friend who swears that the American store Target has opened a couple of shops in the UK - she thought London. Is this true - can't find anything on their website!!!

I've never heard of this. Would be lovely if they did.

Weird - this friend of friend was insisting that there was one near Bounds Green in London - but surely there would have been a big media thing if they had opened up over here???

wish they would. dh got me some orla kiely kitchenware from target when he was in chicago.

i got some fab orla kiely stuff there too! (in New Jersey actually) I only had room for a couple of things but it was dirt cheap.

I think that is just a rumour about it being in the UK.

The Target store referred to in London is CANADIAN!!

I wish we had Target over here too, although I'm sure it would be rubbish in comparison to the US stores.

Good point, horsehill- either London Ontario or Edmonton Alberta perhaps? Could explain the bounds green confusion...

Target has a shop at the shopping centre next to the Dickens Centre at Chatham in Kent. It's really cheap and a huge shop. Well worth a visit. I can't resist the cheap bookshop nearby.

Target have just announced they are closing all their stores in Canada - they have been a huge flop

Oh I love Target, there's a Super Target near the in laws house in Florida, I swear I can lose the best part of a day in there. I wish they'd open up over here.
