skinny jeans vs straight leg vs slim fit

I am working out some new jeans for autumn, have just lost about 1.5 stone and old ones are falling down so need a bit of a wardrobe revamp

am thinking 3 pairs:

  1. boyfriend/comfy fit for with trainers
  2. longer smarter ones for with heels
  3. shorter smarter ones for with flats

I am 5ft2, hourglass-ish but bigger boobs than hips, size 12-14top/32FF boobs and size 12ish on bottom (getting slimmer, yay), legs not v slim though.

for the smarter jeans, what would people recommend skinny vs straight leg vs slim fit for my body shape and with/without heel?

any particular brands that might be good to look at? I don't mind spending a bit, say £60-100 a pair if they're worth it, am tired of cheaper jeans that within a few wears are too baggy around the bum and waist.

Also am thinking of maybe going to the personal shopper at a big department store for this, has anyone done that?

Thanks fashionistas

Hi Pixiemoon,

I reckon because your boobs are bigger than your hips, and because you're petite, definitely steer clear of the skinny or slim fit jeans. I think they might make you look unbalanced. Boot cut or maybe straight leg seem best, with or without heels. I really like Oasis jeans and also some River island jeans. Really flattering cut and they don't gape at the waist. They're about £40.
