I don't know about epilators but I get my leg waxed and am told to regularly use an exfoliating scrub and use lots of moisturiser to avoid ingrowing hairs.

I've got a good product that I used on my bikini line called ingrowgo by SkinDoctors. You can buy it on Boots on line. I've barely had an ingrowing hair since.

I've heard that Tend Skin is effective - you can use it to treat and also prevent ingrowing hairs. They have a website with more info on you can google.

i scrub 2x a week and use moisturiser daily. but so did my friend and she got terribly infected ingrown hairs so i think it must depend on the person.

maybe experiment with different time of day / using talc or varying speed rusmum.
