Accidentally went out wearing the same as my toddler daughter this morning

Must have got lots of looks behind my back.

Then I realised that the coat I want this year is a carbon copy of the one I bought DD in advance in January's Monsoon sale. So now I can't have it, can I? My own daughter, aged 22 months, has beaten me to it

Boden really is poncy, isn't it?

If you want the coat, buy it. What does it matter what people you don't know think?

Use different coloured scarves etc.

foxinsocks · 31/07/2009 18:41

bet you plan it that way every day really

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 31/07/2009 18:41

You don't have to wear them at the same time.

You just wanted to show your soon to be(lovely) coat off really didn't you?

cthea · 31/07/2009 18:43

I'm getting the purple one

HuffySpice · 31/07/2009 18:44

Today I noticed that we were the matching family.
Me: Beige skirt and blue top.
Dh: Beige shorts and blue top.
Dd: Blue dress with beige flowers on it.
Ds: Blue dungarees with beige striped t-shirt underneath.

I hope no one else noticed. It wasn't intentional.

The ad-man's perfect family, Huffy.

I think I will look like spooky control-freak mother who wants her daughter to be just like her. DD will just look gorgeous as always
