How about trying on sunglasses...I hate it!

God yes sunglasses are the worst! I can only do it in Boots when it's really quiet.

It's because you're so exposed...not in a cubicle...and you know that passers by can see you and maybe thinking 'no, those look dreadful on you'!!

i sing girlfromipenema when trying on bags or shoes (poss tmi)

ba that m&s one looks promising but a bit shiny

princess i find a landscape shaped bag much less flattering than portrait.

Update - bag arrived today and it gorgeous, so much lovlier than the picture! Rich, quality leather, lots of compartments (which appeal to my control-freak nature) and the optional shoulder strap is very handy when I have a DC in each hand! It will certainly do until I can afford a Mulberry

100% leather, and smells gorgeous! Oriano are v big in Ireland apparently...check out their website.

No prob - everyone has their own taste and I did ask for opinions! I am very happy with it - I have all my bits perfectly organised plus DC's bits - surprisingly roomy!
