How many evening outfits do you take with you on a 2 week break?

Off to Greece on Monday.

Day time is always easy for me: 3 kaftans, 4 bikinis and a couple of sundresses where more covered up daytime dressing is required.

Trying not to overpack . I usually end up taking 7 evening outfits and wearing each one twice

Oh, not a cocktail frock, then?

I am not at all dressy and hardly ever go on 'that sort' of holiday, even pre-DS, but I do usually pack either a dressier dress, or nice top and skirt for those fabled evenings out. In the event, I usually find I want to wear a sundress or whatever that I've been wearing during the day. My 'evening clothes' generally come back unworn.

We usually go to a swanky restaurant once or twice on a two week break so I'd take one outfit suitable for that (say a linen dress, jacket, proper shoes, nice necklace - I dunno, something that doesn't look like work or the inside of a tent). Then I have a couple of cotton skirts and three or four tops for normal evenings, but generally they end up being meals at the end of a day out wearing the day out clothes. We're off to scotland shortly so I expect every evening will be spent in jeans and a fleece

10/10 for poncetastic OP

Tell me SetSquare, is your bitchy retort because I failed to respond to your "let's bitch about style threads" CAT earlier this evening? I don't know who you are but I don't need this kind of nonsense thanks.

Please don't bother to respond to any threads I may start in future. I am not interested in your opinions.

Probably 7 if I had the space for that many clothes. Could cut down on packing by mix & matching separates so more outfits from less pieces.
