I've dyed my hair and got some on my face and neck. It won't come off! Help!

Toothpaste is supposed to work quite well - since it's gently abrasive. Lots of gentle rubbing!

For future reference putting vaseline around your hairline is a good tip to prevent you having to de-stain your skin.

You're not going to like this but a hairdresser in Harrods told me this: get some cigarette ash and mix it with water and then rub it into your skin and wash it off.

He said that when there was a bit of overflow on a scalp he would tell the client to wait while he got his magic mixture, pop into the loos, have a fag, mix it up in a nice Harrods dish and voila!

never heard of using fag ash

but deffo nail varnish remover works

It has faded but not come off completely. Might have to try the fag ash (yuck). The only person I know who smokes is my mum and she's given up!

Go down the local pub and beg the guys hanging about outside!

Clearasil works like magic. I had this very issue a few months ago, and a charitable Mnetter suggested it.

I've resorted to Domestos in the past, tbh.

methylated spirit works.
