i used to have my hair all one length and long, i decided it was a bit dated and a bit flat so got it cut to shoulder length with some long layers.
but now its really wavy and kinks out all over the place. one side insists on flicking out aswell like miss hooley (balamory) if i try straightners on it .
i have to wash it everyday and i dont want to use straighteners on it so what could i do with it?
is there a better way to have it cut? should i forget layers?
any ideas please?

HI

Yes-my hair is just the same-it needs the weight left in it. I would keep layers but grow them, as if mine are cut too short they to stick out and it is a daily battle to flatten them.

And when the weather is damp i end up with frizzy sticking out hair!!!!! nice!!
