Cos i blimmin' want one

I added it to my basket first morning of the sale and then dithered like a dithery thing and took it out (and spent 300 quid on other stuff).

And now that I've sent the stuff I bought for dh back I want more crap for me.

Anyone fancy selling there's?

There's a spotty one on ebay but not the stripy one I want.

aww laurie. no i haven't got one and i thought it was very frumpy so you have had a lucky escape.

LaurieFairyCake · 16/07/2009 21:09

Maybe I'll knit one

Maybe I should just buy a long cardigan, that's what it was right?

it is the most glam dressing gown i have - so warm yet not bulky

DELETED · 18/07/2009 18:35

Haven't worn it yet though, too warm.

I keep looking at the aqua one each time i see it come back into stock.

BeastQuest · 18/07/2009 19:27

DELETED · 18/07/2009 19:30

I do think I should get another one.

Have gone through 100's trying to find a decent one.

fishie · 18/07/2009 23:06

BeastQuest · 18/07/2009 23:09

fishie · 18/07/2009 23:12

fishie · 22/07/2009 10:18

help mee what is sizing like? maybe this is more useful for moi?

cornsillk · 22/07/2009 10:20

I got a pink as blue sold out - it's nice. I got small and I'm 10/12 and it's fine. DH has mentioned that it's not very sexy though.

LaurieFairyCake · 22/07/2009 10:23

Right, I will have TWO by tomorrow as I ordered the XL and they sent me the large so they are now sending me the XL as well.

The large fits fine(but I still want the xl for comparison) and it's lovely and snug. I'm seriously going to wear it on the beach in Dorset in the morning - it just looks like a long snuggly cardigan.

I don't know how much bigger the XL is compared to the Large but I may have one available if someone wants it?

OP posts:
fishie · 22/07/2009 10:28

what colour your large laurie?

LaurieFairyCake · 22/07/2009 10:46

I have two now - postman just came - they are both blue fishie

There is only one inch length difference in the overall length of the cardigan, half an inch in the arms, and perhaps two inches in the front crossover bit difference. The L and the XL are pretty similar really.

I'm quite surprised how close they are in size.

fishie · 22/07/2009 10:50

hmm i wanted a brown really. pink is just too much. i hate that unclear sizing.

what dorset you off to? i think we're going this weekend to look at fil (near wimborne).

LaurieFairyCake · 22/07/2009 10:53

Yes, get the brown, it looks lovely.

We are going Durdle Door next Saturday, can't wait - first day of school holidays here and dd is moping around, has been crying this morning as she finished primary school yesterday - tis all a bit emotional
