Lightweight raincoat for 4 year old DD - any suggestions?

It's the British summer so obviously DD1 needs a raincoat, but the only thing she's got is a really heavy Helly Hansen Oil cloth thing (V V waterproof, but really only necessary for deep sea fishermen).

Any recommendations for a light raincoat? I don't want a pac-a-mac, I'd like a proper coat, just one that isn't too thick.

any ideas most welcome

DD has one of these Hatley rain coats. The fabric is rubberised, so completely waterproof, and it's lined with a lovely soft towelling.

I always get the Peter Storm ones from Millets. Lightweight, but a bit thicker than a pac-a-mac.
