BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/07/2009 15:59

oooh I've just had an email to say Accesorize sale is on

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 16:05

Accessorize sale had started today and Monsoon one is usually a week later iirc

BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/07/2009 16:40

cor thanks littlelamb

nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/07/2009 16:53

it's just bags at the minute though isn't it?

it says jewellery but that must be instore only.

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 16:53

BALD, I'll be sharpening my elbows for next Thursday I'm determined to treat myself to some monsoon PJs, I've been ill this week and had to open the door in grubby old sweats. I'm going to get me some ladylike nightclothes

nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/07/2009 16:55

i want earrings. i only own 3 pairs.

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 16:55

I'm also thinking I'm going to have to place ds's buggy in a more prominent position. He has developed a habit of picking things off shelves and hanging onto them I'm going to try and angle him just right for the bag I have my eye on
Ah, I jest, I jest

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 16:56

Loads of earrings in there DB> Claires might be worth a look. I feel dreadfully old and past it when I go in there, but their summer jewellery is nice

nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/07/2009 16:57

might go for it on monday.
will keep an eye out for you and your bag hogging too.
you'll be weak still from all your illness

nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/07/2009 16:59

i was in exeter yesterday. tried to take my mosaic out of the exhibition for the move but was convinced by the gallery owners to give it some more time.

thing is, i like it myself and want it for my wall. but need the money.
can't afford my own damn art!!!

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 09/07/2009 16:59

if you put things in your basket online will they reduce the price and stay in there when the sale starts?

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 17:00

I've been past the window several times DB and it always has the same one in there. Can you convince them to give you a more prominent spot?

BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/07/2009 17:01

I did that on Xmas day and then went in on boxing day and the boots were still in my basket, and at sale price too

huzzah

Or it could have been because there was less than 24 hours in between the 2

littlelamb · 09/07/2009 17:03

And I am never too ill for a bargain. Ds is looking a bit suspect, so if he comes down with something in the next few days I'll just neglect to change his nappy before venturing in. I'm pretty sure it'd clear the area

nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/07/2009 17:10

LL, they are going to try it as outside piece in the courtyard once the exhibition ends.
May catch the light better.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 13/07/2009 18:06

it's tomorrow!

littlelamb · 13/07/2009 18:10

See you there DB
Realistically though, I don't strictly need anything...
Except pjs. I'll be upset if there are no pjs

nevergoogledragonbutter · 13/07/2009 18:50

tomorrow is no good for me.
the removals van is coming.
oh well.

Mumsnut · 14/07/2009 12:07

What a waste of time! Website PAINFULLY slow, checkout page would not come up. By the time it did, the dress I wanted had been removed from my bag. Grrr.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 16/07/2009 16:17

Very disappointing. The discounts are a bit pathetic.
