What to wear with navy jacket

I've bought this in navy in the sale and I like it/fits very well etc.

However, what can I wear it with. If I wear it with jeans will it look like I'm wearing denim with denim (it's not denim, it's definitely just navy!).

I'm nervous it will just end up in the cupboard as I never think it looks right with anything.

White linen pants?

that will look fab with jeans, don't worry about a "double-denim" faux pas

I would wear it with faded loose-fitting jeans, brown birkies, brown belt and a pristine white shirt/t-shirt

or with white skinnies and converse, can you do that (not many can)

would not wear with a skirt or dress, you need a longer blazer to do that, IMO

definitely can't do white skinnies! An arse like a bulldozer!

In reality I will probably wear it with jeans most of the time - just want to make sure I wasn't committing a style crime

It won't go with any of the dresses I own as they all tend to be brown.

Jeans! It won't look like a denim suit.

I have a similar one that I wear with jeans, white tee, converse or my Navy Adidas Sambas.
