Laura Mercier or Clarins Beauty Flash Balm are my favourites.

Clarins do a lovely one in a little red jar, it makes your skin feel like silk. MAC Prep&Prime is good too.

I had a thread on this a while back!

Try "that gal" from benefit - pricey but fabulous.

monkeysmama · 08/07/2009 22:39

I like Clarins beauty flash balm too. That Gal is also good & more of what I'd think of as a traditional primer-it's not "wet" like BFB. The Clains one in the little red tub is a filler (something "smooth") & comes with a little spatula. I use it as well as a primer. Clarins do a more traditional primer but it's the same as That Gal I reckon. I tend to use YSL's air brush effect foundation now which seems to have a built in primer. I'd check prices but go for cheapest of those above. is that vaguely helpful? I am a product marketeer's dream

all still bit too expensive i think, loreals got a new one out i might try but everywhere i go is sold out grrrr! must be good then
