Black skirt to wear in the evening-why can't I find one?

Im new to MN and was wondering if you lovely ladies could help me.

Forgot to say, I'm 29 and a shapely size 14!

Could look frumpy and dull with a black skirt. You can't find one because no-one is wearing black skirts any more dahhhhling.

Wear it with jeans or black trousers - nice pair of heels?

So nice shoes.... don't suppose you can recommend some nice heels (preferably comfy!!!)

Ooh, dunno - but Clarks are usually comfy! Or Jones the Bootmaker - both got websites...

Think jeans or trousers would look better with the top. If you did want to go down the skirt route you'd probably be best with a pencil skirt
