What are "Coast / Monsoon type shops"?

I am choosing my own bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding. She says she was thinking along the lines of "Coast / Monsoon type shops" but I have looked in both of those (and Debenhams too) and not found anything.

Where else could I try?

Googling bridesmaid dresses brings up lots of specialised wedding shops and I am a bit scared of them.

Lots of colours too.

Hmmm, are you sure you have the same taste as your friend? Perhaps you just don't like what she might...

Thanks for the link Smurf. Nice site.

Don't worry minko - my friend wants the bridesmaids to choose their own dresses precisely so that we're wearing dresses that we actually like, rather than something she has chosen that we might not be comfortable in. I want to choose a dress that fits with her theme and colours perfectly - she has given us guidelines.
