Of course I wouldn't Fimbo. Ugh. The Lilies of the Field site has a section labelled "Mother and Daughter dress-alikes" or something. Made me think of Fergie.

Ironically all the dresses look like Princess Di circa 1981.

muggglewump · 29/06/2009 14:13

here she is, dressed like her doll

BalloonSlayer · 29/06/2009 14:14

I share your puzzlement, MrsSeanBean. You'd think the people to whom it would appeal would shun t'internet for all manner of reasons: too sexy, too modern, too powered by electricity to name just three.

missmelly · 29/06/2009 14:15

I checked their address to see if it was Utah, but no, Florida. Must be a huge market for that clothing in the States

Fimbo · 29/06/2009 14:16

From that site Muggle:-

The above matching outfits were bought by fathers which had us pick out the fabric sight-unseen as surprise gifts. First, for the mother, daughter and doll. The other for twins.

Dh if you happen to see this thread, then please refrain.

Oh I must get the "Jodi and Joel" outfits for DD and DS1 for Christmas.

They will be overwhelmed. DS1 especially. It will be a present he never forgets.

blinks · 29/06/2009 14:21

FlappyTheBat · 29/06/2009 14:25

Doubt this link will work as it was so long, I am bound to have gone wrong somewhere

jeminthepark · 29/06/2009 14:28

Mugglrwumps does it for me.

Fantastic thread ladies

8oreighty · 29/06/2009 14:31

Just what my stepmother would wear...in the states there is a lot of this visual abuse...

jeminthepark · 29/06/2009 14:32

Actually Mugglewump, where do you dredge this stuff up from? Some of it is downright scary!!

Fimbo · 29/06/2009 14:32

Dear Lydia of Purple Ladies,

I'm enclosing another order for you. You did a wonderful job on my daughter's blouse - - such excellent workmanship! It came out just as we hoped it would!

And I am ordering some more warm weather bloomers - - I have grown so accustomed to my flannel bloomers this past winter, that when I try to 'do without' I feel like I have forgotten something! It is very nice to have that assurance of modesty, even at my age when I am not turning cartwheels or swinging high on the swing! ...

God bless, and thank you again.

K.D.

Indiana

And I bet that's not the only swinging she's doing.

Nice hat

Scroll down to horse woman.

Lilymaid · 29/06/2009 15:05

Bikini, tankini or perhaps one of these?

BalloonSlayer · 29/06/2009 15:49

Oh, Lou, I can hardly breathe for laughing.

One of those nightgowns, it says about how roomy it is, then: " it will stay down at night."

Too bloody right it will - have you seen the picture?

whoingodsnameami · 29/06/2009 16:12

Is'nt this just divine?

blinks · 29/06/2009 16:34

i'm going for the paint effect look.

madameovary · 29/06/2009 16:37

How very dare you mock that top, when some poor soul sacrificed their curtains to make it!

Reminds me 70's flock wallpaper...

madameovary · 29/06/2009 16:38

Reminds me of

HuffwardlyRudge · 29/06/2009 16:44

That Hanky Bottomed Top does it for me. Hands down winner. Frightening.

I can't compete so will enter these trousers in a new catagory instead.

Fimbo · 29/06/2009 22:23

Oh Huff very very good - those trews must take the male prize.
