Despite walking the length of Oxford Street twice today- no bikini tops- shorts, yes, boobs all over the place ( in every sense.)

MrsBadger · 27/06/2009 18:02

yes

but to be fair we do have a fountain playground feature thing in the park so they had just been splashing

twoluvlykids · 27/06/2009 18:06

Oh dear, I hope it hasn't been my dd, in her new bikini and boardies, she went to the beach today with 2 friends

i wasn't invited - she'll be 14 next week, and it's her "treat" with her friends

MrsBadger · 27/06/2009 18:38

No but have seen the very obvious black thong under white linen trousers, every lump/dimple of cellulite also visible (no criticism of the having of cellulite, I've got shed loads just keep it under wraps). Do you think wearers of such things know and don't care or just don't know....'tis a matter I often ponder.

smurfgirl · 27/06/2009 18:45

Not today (its chilly) but yest there was a few.

I say it again.

Its NOT Majorca love.

oh, should fat people not wear white trousers, does it make it look worse?

I bought a really comfy pair of white linen trousers today, never occurred to me that my flub would be more visible in them

FatGirlThin · 27/06/2009 19:18

Depends what you wear underneath them Greensleeves. Firstly start with this chant 'I must not wear a black thong under white linen' (whether size 8 or size 28)

mrsmerryweather · 27/06/2009 19:21

shouldn't you wear flesh coloured knickers under white trousers? Just like a beige/flesh coloured bra is de rigeur under white tops?
even white thongs/knickers show through white linen.

I saw a very well groomed middle aged woman today- wearing white linen, lovely strappy flat black patent sandals and nicely painted toes - but her knickers were clearly visible through her trews.

FatGirlThin · 27/06/2009 19:25

YY Mrs M I think you are right. I don't own flesh coloured knickers or white trousers so didn't feel I could offer advice but sounds good to me White and black definitely both show.

FatGirlThin · 27/06/2009 19:26

Unless your bottom is peachy smooth and wobble free I definitely think you need some thing covering it under your trousers.

Amen.
