sand in uv clothing/sun suit - how do you get it out?!

Hi

Has anyone discovered how to get sand out of the sun suits (uv protective clothing) little ones wear on the beach? DD has been on the beach recently and despite a couple of washes her suit still has sand caught in the material. I'm guessing that's not ideal, or am I worrying about nothing?! Thanks for reading.

Sorry I don't know, but I read on here that if you rub talc on their skin then the sand doesn't stick! Will be trying it soon!

I find that you need to stretch small parts of the fabric and then the sand almost brushes out once it is dry. Other than that I keep one outfit for beach and one for pool- but then we are in the water practically every day between may and september!! (live in Cyprus!)
