I want to get my baby boy buckle shoes

Hello

My baby is ready for his first proper shoes, I had wanted to get him the Start Rite originals that Princes William and Harry wore, but they are only made in width fitting f and my son's feet come up at an h width.

Does anybody have any suggestions of similar styles?

Thank you.

Start-rite only do 'traditional' buckle style shoes for girls - as far as I was aware - eg see here but I was advised however that they could be used for boys also as there are no flower motifs etc.

Where you are getting your information from re. the 'startrite originals'.../ sizing etc? Was not aware of such a product.

these come in different widths, but still not an H. sometimes worth trying

tbh IME start-rite aren;'t fabulous for wider feet

From experience, with an H fitting you need to go in and ask what they have in that size and make your decision from there.

There is a small shoe shop in my village and the owner said Start Rite do a range of originals that can be ordered, but only in f.

I think I will go back there and inquire further.

I will take him in again, to try on some and see what she will order for me.

Thanks again
