DH reaction to chest wax and cream

Help. Don't laugh...DH has waxed his chest for the first time but then used removal cream for the bits he missed. His chest is now red raw and weeping. He also seems to have some wax left on his chest.

He is in agony. What can we use to take the soreness away or is it just a matter of time?

Aloe cream?

cold flannel, no heat what so ever and an antihistmine (sp?) cream will do the trick...beauty therapist in the building

oh and leave the wax on his chest, just put baby powder on it to remove any stickyness, and give the poor man a pain killer!

oh god it's really nasty now. It is seeping through his t shirt. He is slathering on aloe vera at the moment. I think he is too embarrassed to see the dr tomorrow.

it will weep for a few days, he probably has hives caused by the heat, keep up with the cold stuff and make sure you have anti septic on any open wounds
