Where to shop?

I am short and large. I need a new outfit for dn's 18th birthday party on Saturday. I have a whole day in Canterbury on Friday - which shops should I try that I might have not thought of? I am a Monsoon-y sort of woman - used to be Laura Ashley. I don't really like dressing up and I want to be able to dance. The party may very well last all night (large Irish family) I will have to sing and I may get slightly drunk, so nothing where I have to pay too much attention to my decorum so not too low and no splits. And I don't want my 13 year old to be ashamed of me. Well, she will be when I sing, obviously, but not before then!

How about the big Fenwicks store?

Also some nice shops down the Whitefriars shopping walk (think its called that!)

I intend to hit Whitefriars - but I KNOW I'll just go into the same shops I always do if no one stops me!
