GeneHunt · 15/06/2009 23:07

Is it 1983 again?

Overmydeadbody · 15/06/2009 23:11

oh god no.

Really, that is OTT.

navyeyelasH · 15/06/2009 23:12

hmm ok I'll go with indigo jeans.

GeneHunt, I wouldn't know I was born in '83 [evil laugh]

Of course you can .
Sound lovely..!

I just bought dd electric blue/turquoise cropped trousers and fuschia pink top to wear together .
I love the colours that seem to clash yet compliment each other so well.

BitOfFun · 15/06/2009 23:15

Only if you planning to run away with the circus and own very large shoes...

navyeyelasH · 15/06/2009 23:18

Oh god really, is it that bad?! I don't get why? I normally wear pretty random things but didn't think this was that bad?! I might lose the red jeans but the blue and purple is staying!

Yes, why not ? Have you tried the outfit on and liked it ?
If so just go for it.
Make sure your shoes and bag are one of these colours though (prob the purple or blue).
You're 25 wear what the hell you like !
at big norks !

navyeyelasH · 15/06/2009 23:27

big norks are a curse - honest!

I haven't tried it all on together I'm going shopping tomorrow and need to get the jeans so am just doing a quick online recky (sp?) to speed things up tomorrow - maybe I will give it a go!

I'm not even sure I can do skinnies I do have a big bum so usually steer clear but had to wear a friends pair last week and I quite liked them!

Is there a rule that you have to be slinky for skinnies?

michaelbooblie · 15/06/2009 23:36

Depends what your legs are like I think, If they are a good shape and quite slim - fine. If not go for straight leg, still slim fitting but a bit more forgiving.
New look do great ones (Polka) but only in indigo or black.

snice · 15/06/2009 23:39

only if you're getting a job on CBeebies

navyeyelasH · 15/06/2009 23:47

snice - I work as a nanny so you're not far off!

Michaelbooblie - legs I would say are fat of thigh but slim in calve & ankle. I thought maybe if I got a block coloured pair with big bum pockets could be do-able. Will try a pair on as well as straight leg and see which looks best.

Are the polka ones low rise do you know? I can't so low rise at all!

OP posts:
michaelbooblie · 16/06/2009 00:00

No not particularly low ,I dont think.
Sit just below my hip bone (but I'm tall)
But I hate jeans that you feel like you have to pull up all the time and make fatty bits on hips look worse!
Polka are great !

michaelbooblie · 16/06/2009 00:08

Good luck with shopping, I'm off to bed now.

Walkingwiththighosaurs · 16/06/2009 14:07

Are you auditioning to be a clown?

navyeyelasH · 17/06/2009 14:09

I don't really get the clown reference? Michaelbooblie thanks for the help - in the end I did go for the crazy colours and I also bought a pair of those Polka jeans they are really nice!
