I need shoes to go with a cream dress with navy spots... what colours would you recommend? I would like something bright...

I need a bag too.

I don't mind extremely high shoes, just nothing too delicate, a stacked/wedge heel would be preferable...

I like slightly outlandish shoes, love my fly wedges and these look great, but I think they are not right....

I am short too, so, thinking what would elongate my legs?

I have skinny ankles.

gold?

or sensible?

Gosh what a contrast in shoes. Definately not the last pair, they look a bit granny and officey.

Hold on......

Fimbo · 15/06/2009 22:41

Depending on how dark the spots on the dress are, you could possibly get away with these in the black.

Fimbo · 15/06/2009 22:46

Or these

hatesponge · 15/06/2009 22:47

i love the ice cream ones! they are fab

fimbo's ones are probably more suitable though! unless of course you buy a different dress to match lovely ice cream shoes!..............

brokenspacebar · 15/06/2009 23:18

I love them in the red Fimbo, the dune ones, the spots are very dark, but I am really not sure about black and blue ?

lol hatesponge, that is tempting...find a dress to go with shoes! I have really struggled to find a dress....so I think I will have to stick with the one I have.

Yes I hate black and blue. Maybe the red would be ok though?

brokenspacebar · 15/06/2009 23:24

I have only ever tried on dune shoes, never purchased, they always seemed a bit slender for my feet...
tempted by these ?

should I be thinking of getting a block colour if the dress is patterned ?

I quite like these but am not sure if they would go plus the ankle strap might cut your leg off and make it look a bit stumpy IYKWIM? I have them in another colour and they are so comfy!

brokenspacebar · 15/06/2009 23:36

navyeye I think they might be okay, because the strap is lower down, I could probably try them on if my local-ish schuh has them, are they quite high?

must go to bed, will be back tomorrow for more.

cheers so far, shoe shopping so much more fun than clothes shopping.

The heel is 10m and i think there should be a concealed (and very cushioned) platform inside.

brokenspacebar · 16/06/2009 10:58

at 10m... that would test my fear of heights... they do sound very comfortable, perfect for wearing all day.... if they are 10cm, that is ...

OP posts:
navyeyelasH · 17/06/2009 14:10

can't wear 10m heels what a light weight you are

(yup I mean CM!)

brokenspacebar · 17/06/2009 19:37

do you think the dune ones are 10cm high too? I like the blue, white and red ones I linked too, but not sure how I would get on with them.... still tempted by the ones Fimbo linked to as well.

I am very indecisive.
