Stuff them with newspaper.

Potates? Really?

blimey what a coincidence
I took a pair of shoes to be stretched today

They are supremely ugly black lace ups from hotter where they are stretching them for me as they are too narrow

Apparently they will also do it in shoe repair shops.

Takes a day or two.

oh ggirl THANK YOU
how marvellous
you have just saved me from a) throwing £50 down drain or
b)having footbinding

what is the potato peel thing? how does that work?

So you can stretch them but can you shrink them???

FrannyandZooey · 13/06/2009 21:54

you can get leather heel insert thingis from superdrug - they make them shorter

And put insoles in - takes about half a size off depending on thickness (insole's, not yours).

I've tried that It'll teach me not to buy shoes in the sales!
