MAC lipglass and atm I luuurrrveeeeeeeeeeeeee MAC dazzlegloss (or something like that). Slightly bigger tube and about £13 compared to the £9 BUT its soooooooooooooo sparkly and glam.. Tis good..!

janeite · 08/06/2009 20:56

I am terrible with lipstick: I hardly ever wear it and when I do I tend to eat it within minutes of having applied it. However, my favourite is Clinique Black Honey.

AnyFucker · 08/06/2009 20:56

Juicy Tubes "raisin" (gloss)

I don't use lipstick, too 80's for me

littlelamb · 08/06/2009 20:58

Lancome Juicy Tubes - have two colours - one quite beigey the other paleish pink.

I've got more lipglosses and lippies than I know what to do with. TBH, unlike things like foundation, I think you can get away with cheaper brands and they're just as good. For example, A rimmel or revlon lipgloss will be just as good as a Chanel one...the packaging just won't be as pretty

If you're looking for a pinky brown natural colour, check out Bobbi Brown. She's the queen of natural shades. I've got a lovely lipstick called "Rose". I honestly wouldn't bother forking out too much for a gloss unless you're a sucker for the packaging (which I am).

JeanPoole · 09/06/2009 08:57

thanks, when i say naturalish i meana a bit more colour than totally natural iyswim!

could do with getting one of those lip pallets or something i guess

Another vote for Mac Lipglass, I have one in a beigey pink, it's lovely.

Go to a big Department store and try lots on.

JeanPoole · 09/06/2009 09:24

i did go to bobbi brown and tried on a couple but i couldn't decide!
i need to try at home and wear for a while really.

I like MAC Lip Glass and Chanel's rouge allure & hydrabase lipsticks. However, for sheer staying power, I have become a recent convert to Max Factor's Lip Finity. They have a range which combines a basic lip colour with a more sparkly gloss. I find I wear the basic colour during the day and top it up with the gloss if I am going out in the evening. It really does last for hours but isn't drying.
