Sunscreen Wipes

Does anybody know where I can get sunscreen wipes from? 5 year old DS has to wear sunscreen during play/lunchtimes at school and I thought these would be easier and less messier than slopping on sun lotion.

Boots used to do them. Haven't seen them for a while (but then haven't looked for them either )

Hi girlsnightout (I wish)! I was also looking for these recently too, but couldn't find. Instead I bought Banana Boat's Tear Free spray which appealed to my 2 DS and I have to admit, has been great in taking the hassle out. They just spritz everywhere and go! Hope this helps and enjoy the sun while it lasts!

pampers used to do them..called sunnies iir. BUT could only get them the 1st summer after having dd so I guess they were out around 2005....never seem them since or similar ones.

I think...........maybe they weren't as effective as applying suncream iykimw (maybe not as much lotion on the wipe so not full coverage etc) hence withdrawing them..?

I liked them as well, easy to apply BUT I guess they were open to misuse and thats not something you want to risk with lo's..

i LOVED these for tiny faces especially!

I used them in the summer of 2005, the pampers summies ones, but not seen them since.

They really should make them again.

I haven't seen them for a while. Someone told me that they weren't very good. I get the baby bottles of sunscreen (Amber Solaire).

shhhh · 08/06/2009 15:18

yeah same as me tassissss.

I honestly think that coverage was not good hence them being discontinued.
For some reason pampers also did swim nappies that were fab (bright orange) and they also discontinued them...

It was the Pampers Sunnies I was thinking of! I used them back in the summer of 2005 and I haven't seen them since, you're probably right perhaps not as effective as the bottled sunscreen and hence them being withdrawn. Oh well back to the drawing board!

you sound like "me" last year! I hunted everywhere and failed gave up .

girlsnightout · 08/06/2009 16:59

Yup, I'll think I'll give up now, pain in the bum really as DS will end up covering himself from head to toe with sun lotion including his school uniform . Thanks for all your replies ladies!
