I know. You need to be my personal shopper. I get tired quickly and hate everything. I need to get my groove back. Then I spend ages admiring lovely dresses for 19 y-o

ahundredtimes · 12/06/2009 18:41

i whoosed my mum.
even she said i was like some kind of heat seekign missile.
i sit in the changing room and take hangers and give out Opinions.

ahundredtimes · 12/06/2009 19:35

I bet you're great. I get tired and hot and feel cornered. I always end up chatting up the shop assistants and usually leave empty-handed.

Except last time I went shopping I got talking to a french lady, and she dragged me in the changing room and kept passing me things, and shouting 'structure' and making me put on tight elastic belts. I liked her v. much, and I bought things. Including the tight 'structure' belt.

MacaroonIncident · 12/06/2009 20:25

i have one of those htat makes me look bosomy so its still got its (hefty) price tag on it

ahundredtimes · 12/06/2009 20:44

Hmm. I am bosomy, but it did give me a waist on this rather nice silk dress. I told french lady I thought it was 'boho' like that, all sack of potato looking, she curled her lip in horror 'non, you need structeure' she said. I was in her power.

lambanana · 13/06/2009 13:52

Pleats on the waist are a big no no IMO

Paolosgirl · 13/06/2009 13:54

Yawn....we wore these in the 80's. We now look back at photos of ourselves in horror and cringe.

Paolosgirl · 13/06/2009 13:54

Look back in horror I mean..

largeginandtonic · 13/06/2009 14:02

Not a chance on me, it would be laughable.

OrmIrian · 13/06/2009 14:04

Ooh only if you have a teeny weeny bottom and hips. I have nice legs and a large arse so would be vile on me.

Not for those with Saddle Bags I wouldn't have thought.
My thighs really need no extra accentuation, I would look like the Michelin man in white ones.
No, not ever never never.
