Sorry - another wedding outfit! I do have a hat though

It's a fabulous large red straw hat, with poppies.

I have this dress (click dresses, it's 3rd page Margarita Linen dress) but need a jacket. Aaaargh! Where can I get a neat jacket, not too expensive. And what colour? (Can you tell I'm crap at this stuff?!)

The wedding's really posh (no children - me and dh's first night away together without children since first was born - he's now 6.5!). The hat's is the stunning bit of the outfit, but I don't want to look like a total frump when I take it off. Maybe that's unavoidable. Am a size 16.

Need shoes too. Love these (click shoes, second page adrianna chocolate heart.

Can't afford any of this, really, but hey! Want to look nice and feel comfortable. Heeeellllppp!

I really am no good at this sort of thing, but, I love the dress and think it would look really good with a stunning hat and may be a jacket or smart, thin knit cardi. Not so sure about the shoes though, thought that straps around the ankle made legs look shorter and this may not be what you want. How about something with a strap just around the back IYKWIM?

What about a really beautiful beaded shawl or wrap instead of a jacket/

I think you're right babyannabel. I have ordered this one and this one in the hope that one of them is a good enough match. They should be here on Saturday, so I'll let you know the results. Now I just need shoes and hold-everything-in underwear!
