I'm getting close to 35, just had dd2 and thinking the mirror is telling me that its time to take more care of my skin. I've used Simple for a while with the ocassional Clinique thrown in when Im feeling flush. I think its time I invested in something more effective. So whats good?

Really don't believe in expensive moisturisers.

Keep your skin clean and hydrated, use a good sunscreen /something with a high SPF in it and I cannot recommend the oil cleansing method more highly.

MrsMattie, I'm loving the OCM, but my skin feels dry! What am I doing wrong?

I use any old stuff which is kicking around in my bathroom.

I use a sunblock during the day anyway, so that's my cream for the morning, plus Boots el cheapo version of Beauty Flash Balm on top to add a bit of glow.

In the evening use cocoa butter, whatever I have nicked from my mum's house (she spends loads of moisturisers), or various freebies which I gather when buying make up (currently Advance Night Repair serum from Estee Lauder - very nice but not sure is making any difference). If all else fails I slap a bit of E45 on.

I have clear skin, albeit dry in the winter.
