Summer holiday wardrobe help needed.

norksinmywaistband · 04/06/2009 08:19

We are booking our first holiday abroad in 6 years.
We are off to the balaerics in July
Self catering, with two preschoolers.
Since I last went anywhere hot I have gone down 2 dress sizes, am now an 8-10 and nothing fits me.

What do I need to take?
What is stylish for the beach?
What is not too pricey? I have £100 pounds to top up my wardrobe.

So far I have some denim cut off shorts, a couple of vest tops, One ancient bikini(but is tie sides, so will still be ok) and A white linen skirt and 1 summer dress.

Well done on the weight loss!

How tall are you?

Any good/bad parts of your body?

Try having a look here:

Littlewood Direct is now FAB - honestly! They have completely revamped themselves and have a good range of clothes at reasonable prices, plus are very flexible about delivery and pick-ups (free returns). (I don't work for thewm btw )

I am 5'6"
Nothing too bad (boobs small and not really that droopy, despite my name )

Perhaps some more shorts and some pretty tops to go with them/your skirt?

Wedges and flat gladiator sandals?

Cheap cotton maxi dress (littlewoods have them because I have bought one!) that could be pulled over bikini during day or dressed up with jewellery and wedges in the evening.

Also will depend on how old you are/what your usual style is obviously - although with new slimline figure you will get away with most things.

I'm 37, short cropped blond hair, tend to wear skinny jeans/t-shirts.
Like trendy stuff, not really into mummy type clothes as I call them

Have a look at the Joe Browns stuff on the Littlewood site; might have some suitable things.
