A quick summary of this summer's trends please?

I'm just about to weed my wardrobe and make a list for what to buy for this summer.

Could one of you fashionistas give me a quick summary of what's hot and what's not this season?

What shapes as well as patterns?

I'm late 40s, size 10-12 and 5ft 3in with biggish boobs - so nothing too outrageous please, but I like to look current.

Ideas for both work and leisure would be appreciated.

So far I've got:

shift dresses (already have some, so that's fine)
nautical (I have a couple of wide-legged linen trousers in navy and taupe - but is wide-legged an ok shape?)

jumpsuits -love the bandeau top ones
Hareem pants ( not great for petites)
hitch up hem details( for older should be slightly lifted so left and right are uneven)

Some of the trends are definitely not for me - I'm too old and the wrong shape for hareem pants! Not sure about one shoulder dresses either.
