Not overly, but I'm not a fan of that style in general iyswim.

I like the blue though

steamedtreaclesponge · 02/06/2009 16:12

Ooh yes I love them!

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:15

i tried them in the shop and four separate women swooned over them. so i bought them. but cd thinks they are tarty. so i'm putting it to the mn jury.

i will be wearing them with a sea green (just knee skimming) sleeveless cowl neck dress and will do electric blue eyeshadow as can do bright colours on eyes.

No, sorry.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/06/2009 16:16

Will they be for a night out or the school run. Makes a big difference.

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:17

hahahaha for party

altho i did see school run mum this morning in micro mini and towering stilletoes

steamedtreaclesponge · 02/06/2009 16:22

I don't think they're tarty! OK, maybe if you were wearing a skintight white mini or something but sounds like they would go really well with your outfit.

Flamesparrow · 02/06/2009 16:22

Hmmm, with that outfit it sounds nice

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:22

well clearly neither do i!

OP posts:
Poppity · 02/06/2009 16:23

I think they will be lovely if the dress is simple.

Not my taste, but I think if you accessorize elegantly it will reduce the potential tartiness!

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:23

flame you're just being nice! i can see they would be a bit divisive. they're not really shy in the background shoes are they? they are rather shouty, but in a good way i hope.

OP posts:
Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:24

dress is v simple. straight up and down with a nice drape and a cowl neck. no boobs in sight.

OP posts:
Tinker · 02/06/2009 16:28

I like "look at me shoes". I think they'd look better on than in picture. If have lovely slim tanned legs, would look great.

Tinker · 02/06/2009 16:29

"look at me" shoes

Flamesparrow · 02/06/2009 16:29

Lol it is one of those things where I wouldn't have bought them, but I also wouldn't have come up with the outfit to team them with. I saw the shoes and was instantly thinking of how some of the mums at school would look in them I forget that you is classy innit

lou33 · 02/06/2009 16:30

lovely shoes

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:31

my legs are tanned as just got back from hols. i am 10-12. i think my legs are not bad, they look a lot longer in these!

OP posts:
Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:31

thanks lou.

i can still take them back to any branch for a full refund. which is a very good exchange policy imo.

OP posts:
lou33 · 02/06/2009 16:32

or give them to me?

Boco · 02/06/2009 16:34

Will the royal blue go with the sea green though?

Lizzylou · 02/06/2009 16:34

Gorgeous shoes, beautiful colour

Your whole party ensemble sounds fab

Heathcliffscathy · 02/06/2009 16:35

tis a question boco. they don't look bad and i'm figuring my make up will pull the whole lot together ??? [uncertain emoticon]
