yeah, i'd say that's a bit too old for bunches.

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 31/05/2009 12:39

Many will say you are, but I don't think so. I am also growing my hair out and it will only tie in bunches and frankly in this weather I need it tied back. I'm also 4 years older than you too

Peabody · 31/05/2009 12:39

To be honest, I think bunches are only for children, so I will have to say yes.

shinyshoes · 31/05/2009 12:39

I think you might be for two bunches sticking out of the side of your head, but not for two that are tied at the shoulder and sort of fall down the front of your shoulders. IYSWIM.
I don't think i've explained myself well

Curiousmama · 31/05/2009 12:42

No not in my opinion. A friend of mine is 40 and very attractive she just about gets away with it still.

At 28 you're a baby

starshaker · 31/05/2009 12:46

they are very close together and u can only see them at the back. hair isnt long enough for them to come down my shoulders. Think im gonna just do it. its too hot and it goes all frizzy. cant wait for it to be long again

trendy bunches with the ties quite low down in the bunch fine imo

tight ones only for children

brimfull · 31/05/2009 12:47

not like this

belgo · 31/05/2009 12:47

Go on do it. I thought you were going to say you were much older then 28! I'm 32 and sometimes wear my hair in bunches.

brimfull · 31/05/2009 12:48

mamadiva · 31/05/2009 12:54

You'll hardly notice it, if you like it go for it!

I always wear my long hair in a side ponytail which my mum insists looks daft but she is a massive fan of the 'Pob' so I reckon we are evens

I'm 22 BTW but don't see how age matters as long as you are not doing the top of the head type bunches. LOL.

Kayteee · 31/05/2009 12:54

Go for it!! I wear mine in bunches and I'm 45....and I have purple streaks

KingCanuteIAm · 31/05/2009 13:01

What about a half pony at the top then bring it all into a full pony at the bottom IYSWIM? Not perfect but a bit less child like than bunches?

janeite · 31/05/2009 18:08

I like bunches and am much older than you. In fact I wore mine in two knotted bunches for work last week and was told by several people how nice it looked. I think the key is to keep them fairly low down and smooth.

starshaker · 31/05/2009 22:56

well i wore my hair like that and people said i looked so much better. it also controlled it when i was attacked with a bucket of water lol
