You should take off your top and bra for the best fitting.

You don't have to whip your knickers off though if that's what you're worried about. (unless you normally tuck your boobs into them)

From the waist up tho to be honest in most cases your best off doing it yourself.

At R and P you get your top and bra off and then the lady swishes you into a lovely silky robe while you wait for her to whizz in and out with a selection of bras

She will asses you nekkid front and back, and hoik your nipples into position if needed.

You don't have to get nekkid at all ime. You put the bra on in private then they come in and adjust the straps and say how they think it fits and suggest other styles etc. They also measure you with your bra on.

I have been fitted in John Lewis, Debenhams and M&S and never had to get naked - it's not like Trinny and Susannah!

I went to Rigby and Peller. I stripped to the waist, and the fitter came into the cubicle with two cupped hands - not a tape measure in sight. She then pulled out the perfect bra from her drawer.

it IS normal, you doofus. they're a shop that sells specifically to larger boobed ladies, you will have NOTHING to interest them.

It's fine - and I'm a big (droopy) girl. They look at you in your existing bra (and the one I was wearing last time was a bit washed out and was a bit ). They see if the back fits and decide on a back size and try you with a that and an estimated cup size and keep trying until they get the right fit, and she'll help you get them on. That's bravissimo, not sure what they do elsewhere except I know Rigby & Peller fit the same way.

Go get fitted don't be embarassed, like I say my boobs aren't great and I do it, if I can, you can.

At least take a friend with you to keep getting different bras and sizes to try, otherwise you have to keep getting dressed to go back out into the shop.

Well, you could always not get dressed to run out, but that doesn't sound like like a good plan

is it your boobs or your body fat that you're uncomfortable about displaying? i'm comforted by the fact that the lady whose the best fitter where i live is fairly amply covered herself.

but what is normal? what if you had three tits? you can keep a vest/camisole on and just roll it down enough for bra area.

go to a busy bravissimo at a busy time and you can just go in and try a bra, they will be thrilled you don't want a fitting. then you can get confidence up for another go.

I was planning on going to R&P but not if they come at me with cupped hands.
