Does anyone have any? Are they any good? Are there any other makes?

Just back from holiday where I was by my untoned thighs-need to do something more about them and since I live in flip flops in the summer thought it might be worth a try! Plus if they are comfy as well they could be good as i'll be pregnant all summer!

I got some MBT's - they're expensive but comfy, if a bit ugly.

Just googled fitflops -they look really nice, and very summery! I wish I'd done a bit more research before getting the MBTs, now!

I have several friends who wear these and think they're great. There seem to be lots of colours and don't look clumpy or ugly.

I have two pairs as they are the most comfy shoes Ive ever worn! Cant say Ive noticed a major difference in toning but I have been walking a lot recently so it would be difficult to know if the improvement has been from the exercise or the fit flops! I would imagine they'd be great if your pg as they are reputed to be great for back problems. Try rubber sole dot com for reliable free next day deliv! HTH!

I have a pair, I wear it all the time around the house.TBH....dont think, they do anything to help toning your legs ....must say they are v comfi but exp for just slippers.

I got some last summer and have been wearing them pretty constantly since then (live in a hot country!) and I have to say my legs are looking more toned than they have for years, without doing any other exercise than walking with fitflops on; I think they're fab.

Is there a fitflop/MBT type thing that isn't a trainer or actual flipflop? I find the between the toe thing uncomfy on flipflops and have to curl my toes to keep them on. The MBT's look too bulky. Is there an alternative?

SabaSaba · 26/05/2009 14:51

Yes, fitflop now do a sandal without the toe thing, have a look on the fitflop site.

Oh, style is called freeway

Thanks ladies! Looks like I need to get me a pair! Good to hear that they are good for backs-mine is not so great now and have 18wks to go! They don't look too bad-although they are more 'bulky' and 'clumpy' than my usual type of flipflop. Think they might be worth it though!

SabaSaba - thanks very much for that link . They don't look too bad, just wincing at the price!
