Apologies if you are a braided Alice-band wearing 52-yr old - but please stop. You might be my friends Mum, and we're going to have you barred from Claire's Accessories if it comes to it.

My next door neighbour who admittedly was only late 40s used to wear tight black leather trousers as day wear. This might have been okay if she had not chosen to, at the same time, have her hair in plaits either side of head.

oh I have a "friend" who looks like she works in Top Shop......until she turns around and then each one of her 49 years is apparent. I sound like a right b*tch but seriously, enough already with the sodding plaits and "fun fashion look". You don't look funky. You look like a mum going to a fancy dress party.
