Help! Work clothes to hide a bump (7wks and puffier by the day...)

Hoping you lovely stylish mner's can help me find some elegant/non-tent like clothes to hide my bump till I'm good and ready to announce. Am clearly starting to show as the team PA actually asked me in the week if I was pg, cheeky cow!

Need a mini-capsule wardrobe for before I need to be in proper maternity wear. Would be v grateful for suggestions and links

I'm five foot eight, and a size 8-10 (except now all my size 10 trousers are now getting too tight!) - oh and I have a 35" inside leg which makes it a nightmare finding normal trousers so I expect I'll have great "fun" trying to find maternity ones. Eeek.

Thanks all

IIRC, I got a little puffy, then it went down again. I was the same size as you and didn't look big. Wear whatever is comfortable. Congratulations!

As summer is coming, you might be about to get away with loose, gypsy style tops and unbuttoned trousers. I just used to tuck mine in and pin them down, as the rest of my lower body did not put on weight.
In my experience, flowy tops are an invitation for at least one person per day with ask if you are pg. There is not much you can do, so embrace it!

thanks ladies - it is just my tum (and boobs to a lesser extent) expanding...

Poor DH, suspect there will be a lot of "I don't know what to weaaaaar" over the next few weeks!

I'd be really grateful to hear what other ladies have done while in the early weeks before you get big enough for "proper" maternity clothes

I would buy 3 or 4 pretty tops in 1 size bigger than your usual, you'll be happy you have them in the months after birth as well, before you fit back into your old gear. Maybe something with a bit of detail to help flatter expanding tummy like this? or this?

oooh, really like the warehouse one - am popping into town tomorrow so will have a look then! Thansk Naomi!
